One early afternoon Matt (you know...the rough and tough one) hopped on his bike to visit his friend J.D. but instead returned home after just a few minutes...in tears! Seems that a bear cub plus mamma crossed his path (or the other way around?) Baby got up on its hind legs to have a closer look at the odd creature on wheels, then the 2 of them took off into the woods. Well, Matt took off, too...straight back home and scared out of his wits:) We told him that as long as he left them alone they'd probably be more scared of him than he was of them, so he got back on his bike to continue his journey:)
